Rock Legends
- сезон 3 епизод 7 - с. 3 еп. 7
Muse have been pushing the boundaries of rock music since the early 90s and with it have sold an excess of 15 million albums. Their bombastic stage shows have seen them build a huge live following and play arenas around the world. And it all started for them in the Devon town of Teignmouth. The trios talent and range of influences led to them winning a local battle of the bands contest and more importantly a record deal. Matt Bellamys guitar playing came to the fore on, Origin of Symmetry with many of the songs featuring riffs inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Rage Against the Machine. In 2003 Muses third album, Absolution became platinum across Europe. The success of singles, Time is Running Out and, Hysteria also lead to the Devon band cracking America. Featuring archive material, music videos - SUPERMASSIVE BLACKHOLE THE UPRISING and, exclusive insights from music critics and journalists JOHN AIZLEWOOD (Evening Standard), DANIELLE PERRY (XFM), WILL HODGKINSON (The Times) and CAMILLA PIA (BBC Radio 6)

U2 - Classic Album: The Joshua Tree
The Joshua Tree was the fastest and highest selling album of 1987, representing a life affirming rebuttal of the synthesizer pop of the preceding years. Meat Loaf - Classic Album: Bat Out Of Hell
The songs and story of this classic album with contributions by Meat Loaf, Jim Steinman, Todd Rundgren, Ellen Foley and Karla DeVito. Since its release in 1977, Bat Out of Hell has gone on to sell an estimated 30 million copies and become one of the top five biggest selling albums of all time. Released during the days of the disco boom and the advent of punk rock, Bat Out of Hell totally bucked those musical trends, yet as Meat Loaf recalls, the record is more honest than 99% of all records released. The remarkable story of Bat Out of Hell is told here by its leading contributors, including Meat Loaf himself, composer Jim Steinman, record producer Todd Rundgren, and backing vocalists Ellen Foley and Karla DeVito, together with others who helped in the construction of Bat Out of Hells wall of sound. Featuring archival footage, interviews and live performances, this is the compelling story of the making of one of rock musics finest hours, a true classic album
